Abstract   |   Authors   |   References
COVID-19 has become a challenge for global community, and post-covid health complications require rehabilitation support. The purpose of the research is to consider possibilities of using resources of medical and sanatorium organizations for post-covid rehabilitation and to indicate possible problems in the way of their implementation. Theoretical and practical significance of the study case is determined by the fact that the article indicates exceptional importance of rehabilitation in the post-covid stage. We should pay attention to the fact that the use of modern opportunities, primarily in the field of medicine and sanatorium-resort activities, will allow developing effective specialized post-covid rehabilitation programs making them more accessible and popular with consumers thanks to cooperation of commercial and state structures, both from the point of view of affordability and public awareness. The authors use methods of empirical research (observation, comparison) and general logical methods (analysis). The main results of the work are that the authors identify the role of medical organizations and the range of different tools in post-covid medical rehabilitation, as well as the factors that limit the demand for this service from population. The effectiveness of post-infectious medical rehabilitation depends on availability and quality of medical services implemented through the traditional format of working with patients, telemedicine technologies, in cooperation with health resort organizations, but it is largely based on training of highly professional rehabilitation specialists and development of effective post-covid rehabilitation programs. In successful fight against the consequences of COVID-19, rather important is improving medical literacy of population which can serve as a basis for maintaining health. Currently, there is a demand for free medical rehabilitation in medical institutions. Population’s low solvency does not allow meeting the demand for rehabilitation in health resorts, and unavailability of the Internet, the lack of skills in using gadgets and computers makes online forms of rehabilitation procedures insufficiently popular
